A Visit to Rainforest Café Can Chase the Blues Away

Have You Visited Rainforest Café?

Do you like the idea of being transported from your everyday mundane world to the beautiful tropics? Then you’re going to love Rainforest Café. The Rainforest Café is a unique dining experience that I eagerly recommend to everyone. If you haven’t yet visited, read this and perhaps you’ll change your mind…

A Real “Theme” Restaurant

Rainforest Cafe has successfully incorporated their theme on every level. Your waiters and waitresses are appropriately called “safari guides.” The seating arrangements are fun, and the interactive displays (such as tropical fish and robotic gorillas) make for an enchanting environment.

If you’ve been dying to visit a rainforest and appreciate nature and its beauty, the Rainforest Café should be an exciting substitute. One of the best parts is the thunderstorms that they have several times each hour. The elephants make stomping sounds and other noises, the lights dim, and you’ll hear the sound of rain.

Take It Home with You

There is also a gift shop that offers something special for everyone from stuffed animals, to pens and stationary, to t-shirts and sweatshirts with the Rainforest Café logo. The gift shop is located a the front entrance of the restaurant.

You’ll Have to Search For It

The only drawback to the fun experience of visiting a Rainforest Café is that they currently don’t have many locations. Most of their restaurants are located in large metropolitan areas or tourist areas. They are currently only in fourteen states, but they are on both coasts.

Join the Club

If you plan to be a frequent visitor to the Rainforest Café, you may want to consider joing the Safari Club. The benefits are a ten-dollar new membership gift certificate, and 10% off any food or retail purchase (excluding alcohol).

Joining the Safari club also allows you to have priority seating when reservations are made in advance. This can come in handy considering how busy the restaurants can get.

Plan Ahead

If you do decide to visit Rainforest Café, make sure you plan ahead. Call for reservations if you can and be prepared to spend at least $10 to $15 a meal. Then add some money for the gift shop (you’ll want to pick up some souvenirs) and get ready for the dining experience of your life.
