Does Skydiving Provide the Ultimate Thrill?

Experience the rush of skydiving.

If you’ve never been skydiving, you don’t know what you’re missing. The rush of free falling from a plane and then gliding over the terrain below is something that can’t be compared to. Is skydiving for you? Let’s find out.

First Things First

The first thing you need to do is ask yourself whether or not skydiving is for you. After all, not everyone can muster up the courage to leap from a plane -- although those who do experience great rewards. If you’re extremely afraid of heights or if you have certain medical conditions that may prevent you from skydiving, then the sport probably isn’t for you.

Learning to Skydive

Once you decide that skydiving is for you, it’s time for you to learn how. So where do you turn to learn skydiving? The first thing you should do is look in the yellow pages or look online. You’ll find any local skydiving institutions, also known as drop zones, listed under parachuting or skydiving.

Saving Up Money

Once you decide where you’re going to take your skydiving lessons, it’s time to save up money. Lessons will run you anywhere from $150 to $200 or more. However, while skydiving isn’t the cheapest thrill, it is by far one of the most fun.
