It’s Time for Decorating Easter Eggs
Decorating Easter Eggs Makes For Great Family Fun
It’s that time of year again. Families everywhere will soon be decorating Easter eggs in fabulous pastels, sparkling glitter, and memorable shrinky-dink type wrappers. But if you think that decorating Easter eggs is still just a matter of throwing some colored tablets into water and vinegar and dipping the eggs in with a little twig-like wire thing, you’d better think twice. Over the years, decorating Easter eggs has gotten better and more creative. My favorite method of decorating Easter eggs is decoupage.
Decoupage
So what if you can’t pronounce it? The art of decorating Easter eggs with decoupage is definitely a fun way to get ready for Easter. So how exactly do you decoupage an Easter egg?
I prefer to use decorative napkins for my decoupage projects. What you do is choose napkins with patterns or pictures that you like. Then cut out those pictures or patterns and paste it on the egg with all-purpose glue. Then dab decoupage medium (available at local craft stores) all over the egg with a sponge. Let it dry and then repeat the decoupage step again. When the eggs dry, you’ll have unbelievably beautiful Easter eggs.
